Christmas Eyes

Well, I couldn't let Christmas go by without posting at least one festive look. I had planned to do more, but things have been so hectic, time just got away from me. 
What comes to mind when I think of Christmas colours are red, gold and green. It sounds garish, but can be easily done without being over-the-top (not that there's anything wrong with making a statement, lol) 
I knew that my stash of mineral shadows wouldn't let me down :)




Using the red and green as liners gives that "pop" of colour, whilst making it totally wearable.

BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it.
